David Gottfried is an author, green building activist and keen entrepreneur. David founded the first green building council, the USGBC, which has since been adopted in 80 countries. He also created the LEED® Green building rating system in the early 1990's. Apart from green building, David has dedicated himself to living a green life - his ultimate challenge. He is an international keynote speaker, sharing his inspiring stories of founding a worldwide movement, his outlook on the new world of green and how the great David Brower influenced his life.
